Venice Through My Eyes–Reflections on La Serenissima…
There are two ways to enjoy Venice…on foot and on water!
Every calle and footbridge offers another spectacular view. Venice loves to show off and I love just meandering through her passageways, riding along her canals and, just drinking in the sheer beauty of this city.
A wonderful walking tour of the Rialto Food & Fish Markets with Walks of Italy was a perfect way to learn more about the traditions of Venetian cuisine amd daily life. Delicious, too! (Read more here.)
It’s a gorgeous day after a few wet ones-a perfect opportunity to venture out and explore…Join me, won’t you?
Another very informative and interesting walking tour included St. Mark’s sestiere and a gondola ride…
Words fail me this evening… Venice aglow in a spectacular sunset…
Ahhh, it’s like falling in love all over again.

I’m glad you obviously enjoyed this unique city!
Ciao again, Yvonne!
Si, Venice, what’s not to enjoy? This was my 4th and longest visit – each time I go I wonder why I leave!
You’ve traveled there?
Grazie for visiting and commenting – appreciated! Lots more coming over the next weeks…(after the jet lag!~)

Yes, I’ve just come home after 3 months split between Florence and Venice. For the past 6 years, I’ve spent 3 months in Venice and have made so many nice friends in that special city.
Oh, the jet lag. It always seems worse when you land back at home, for some reason!
I look forward to more of your stories and photos.
Fabulous photos and I felt like I took a mini visit to one of my favorite cities. Can’t wait to hear more when you get back home!
Cara Sandra,
Grazie for visiting – Venice is so photogenic, isn’t she? Impossible not to fall under her spell!
Look forward to catching up with you…
Hugs,
V.
Beautiful photos Victoria! It makes me anticipate my visit there again this coming September.
Paula,
A picture is worth a thousand words, isn’t it? And so very true for Italy!
Looking forward to sharing with you in fall!
Hugs,
V.
These photos are amazing Victoria! Are they real or Memorex? haha. Got your postcard about celebrating my 60th in Italy. What a great idea that would be. Also, I can see why you want to become an Italian citizen based on the scenery and food and much simpler lifestyle. Ciao bella!
Ciao, Janet!
Just back and it’s all real! 😀 Thousands of memories. Would absolutely love for you to come for your 60th. You would love it and I would love sharing that time with you – toooooo much fun!!!
Hugs & hopes…
V.
