Don’t You LOVE “Success” Stories?
I hadn’t even officially launched “Friends of Victoria” when a serendipitous and unexpected connection resulted in our first “success story”!

While I was still on my last trip to Italy, I received an email from a former classmate – from high school! I won’t go into how many decades ago that was but he was on Facebook and mentioned that he was planning a trip to Italy. Another former classmate suggested that he check out my profiles, pages, blog, etc. and contact me…and he did!
♦ Bringing Friends Together! ♦
And, as it so happened, he and his wife were going to be coming to the exact places in Tuscany that I had just visited! So, the dialogue started with the usual questions, suggestions, et cetera, and, working with my Friends, ultimately recommendations and a plan for their days in Florence and then in the Chianti countryside were made…with Friends of Victoria!
They stayed with my Friend, Federico at Palazzo San Niccolo, exploring Florence on their own…
And then spent four fabulous days with my Friends, Arianna & Alessio of KM Zero Tours in Chianti Country!

Staying in the lovely countryside with gracious hosts Miranda and Maurizio at their agriturismo, they were absolutely thrilled with their personalized itinerary and marvelous experiences…
Gary emailed me midway through their stay:
“Dear Victoria,
We can’t thank you enough for your invaluable guidance is making our trip to Italy a memorable one from the start. Federico and Isabelle were wonderful hosts and our apartment was comfortable, spacious and quiet.
We had a full two days in Florence and just finished our second day with Arianna and Alessio. I sent you a little report with videos of tonight’s amazing dinner at… What a meal. Can’t eat too many like that but would love to…
Grazie.
Gary”
With their permission here are some fun snapshots of their days with KM Zero Tours both from Arianna (who texted me photos daily!) and from Gary and Cathy…
In the kitchen with Beppe the baker!
Visiting local artisan, Giorgio, and Nora’s cashmere goat farm…
Visiting a local cheese farm, historical winery and beautiful abbey, more cooking in a private home…and unforgettable feasts!
