♥ I LOVE Museums! ♥ And I love sharing my visits with you! Some of these museums are lesser known and “off the beaten track”, and some are quite famous, but all are certainly worthy of a visit.
It just so happens that all of these museums are in Italy. Yes, I have been to many other museums but, at the time, I wasn’t taking photos or writing about them so, for now, we will be visiting museums in Italy together!
Museum is defined as “a building in which objects of historical, scientific, artistic, or cultural interest are stored and exhibited.”
(Definition from Oxford Languages)
There are ALL kinds of museums but what they all have in common is that, through their collections and exhibits, they tell a story. They chronicle and preserve our history, culture, and traditions.
They conserve, chronicle, inform, educate, and inspire. We are enriched with new knowledge and insights and, perhaps, a sense of wonder.
I can only speak for myself and, frankly, it’s hard to put into words so I’ll focus on sharing my photos (and minimal content) and hope that they speak for themselves.
I can only hope you enjoy vicariously and that you might be inspired to visit a museum!
